G'Day Marco,
My apologies all, I stand corrected. I can see from the service bulletins that the measurement was in fact taken about 6" from the ground. It would be interesting to know once the alignment has been set this way, what the measurement would be when checked on a modern machine which measures at points in line with the sub axle. I'm gonna have to get me them bulletins.
