: Miclelle,

: As far as I know the only patterns are owned by the companies that make kits. You might ask them, but I dobt that they will supply the patterns. Most people use the old uphostery as patterns. If you do not have the old uphostery then you might be able to borrow the old uphostery from someone who has a restored 29 Roadster (anyone out there have old upholstery ?). Good luck.

----------PLEASE DO get original patterns to redo the seats in your roadster. After restoring a 29 to show condition I have a great appreciation for the beauty of the factory design, as you will as well, if done properly. The only way to successfully match the correct "blue grey" tint of the original material is to buy SPANISH BROWN COLONIAL GRAIN ARTIFICIAL LEATHER from Bill Sturm and "creatively" tint over it with a greyish paint letting some of the base show through.I have only seen this done on two cars, the one I did and another high point raodster. As for the patterns, there is more to actually assembling the seats than sewing the covers, many tricks to that as well.Try and find sombody that has old covers.I know where my old covers went to,may be able to hook you up with them.call at (818) 996-7326'A' Boy in L.A.
