There were 3 SlantWindow Fordors introduced in 1931, replacing the "straight window" models

160-A was the Standard Fordor and it had the rear quarter windows.160-B was the Town Sedan, a deluxe version of the same car.It also had rear quarter windows.

160-C was the Deluxe Fordor. It had all the deluxe features of the Town Sedan but lacked the rear quarter windows, thus the nickname "blindback".Fewer than 3,000 of these were produced and production ceased around June, 1931.

All three Slant Window Fordor bodies were made to the same blueprint, unlike the earlier models made by Briggs, Murray and Ford. All major body pieces are interchangeable.

I was lucky enough to find a SW Blindback body a few years ago and have done extensive research on this model. The exact number built, however, escapes us because Ford apparently didn't keep the SW Blindback production numbers separate from the other models.

Hope this helps explain the differences.
