: Murray,It could be that with the new waterpump that it is pumping more water that the radiator can handle....You can install a thermostat and it should slow the flow down so that the water cools as it goes down...or I have heard of the installation of a 2" washer in the radiator hose can be used to slow the flow down...
: There can be many contributing factors. The first question that has to be asked; is the baffle in place in the top radiator tank? If you can see the top of the core, the baffle is missing and the waterpump will push the water out the top.Good lUck!!!
: It may be getting hot as the result of loosing water, not loosing water as a result of getting hot. I would suggest driving the car a couple miles under the same conditions and stop BEFORE it gets to hot and check the water level. Don't overfill to start with. If it's a '28-29, fill to about the point where the overflow tube passes through the baffle. This should help determine if it is a flow (cooling) problem, and which direction to go.

: : Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help with my overheating problem in my model A.
: :After driving for about 5 miles or so the radiator temp.
: : climbs to about 210 deg and water starts pouring out the
: : overflow pipe.I have ajusted the overflow hight but no different.I allso replaced the head gasket as I was getting a
: : bit of water leaking up one of the head studs and thought
: : may be a blowin gasket was the cause but still the same.
: :Dont think it is a water pump problem because I fitted a
: : new one 3 months ago.[hoping that was the problem]
: :I allso had the radiator core checked out and cleaned and
: : that appeared ok.As I am now about stumped would anyone
: : have any ideas???
