No, no leaks IN THEORY. Popular wisdom as elicited from URB stair, Paul Moller,
and Herm Reheies (sp?) is that if the main jet and the cap jet
are in correct relationship to one another (main jet 1/16" to
1/32" above cap jet) and the float level is right on (level
should bring gas up to just below the tip of the cap jet), and
(the obvious) the needle and seat work good - not all clogged
with gunk)- the carburetor should sit there and behave whether
"gas off" (clap clap) or "gas on" (clap clap)- an old joke from
the MAFCA-MARC joint National in Tacoma. Actually,
Tillotsen X's do this quite well (if their warping problems
could be conquered)
