: Can anyone tell me the correct type and brand of paint to put on the chassis and other under body parts of the Model A.Also, does the paint have to sprayed on or can it be applied by some other method such as a brush. Thanks!

The type and color of the chassis paint is black enamel. The "under body" parts is a little confusing, but if you mean the underside of the body, it is the same color as the lower body itself. This is somewhat controversial.Axles, torque tube, wishbones, steering linkage, brake backing plates, brake drums, shocks, etc., are also black enamel.(Fenders, too).

A good source of what's painted what is the MARC/MAFCA current Judging Standards.

Yes, you can brush everything, even the body, but it would really look a lot nicer if you could obtain some paint spraying equipment. There are clones of the best paint guns that work very well for under $30. A little practice is all that it takes, plus reading some "how to do it" articles.

Good luck..
