: What is a good source for authentic Model A colors and what is everyone using, i.e. acrylic enamal, polyurethane,or...? A good source for paint colors is the repaint manual that can be ordered from the Model A Fprd Club of America. It has color chips as well as the correct colors for each year and body style of model A. I have been told that the paint chips can be matched by computer at an auto paint store. The "A" body was originally lacquer and the fenders dipped enamel. I know of quite a few people that have used the urethane paints and are very pleased with the results. |
