Thanks for the info on the gas tank.
I do have al all-metal front seat bucket that mounts on two slides and has the "Sawtooth" type adjuster. The fabric covering the bucket is totally gone, but there is some wood still there in the corners and the tack strip over the top. I don't see, however, how the seat back attaches. there are no hangers or support ribs on the bucket for it. The seat slips over two cylindrical locators on the bottom so that's not a problem.

By the way, How's 3/4 plywood for seat spring frames rather than gluing them up? (no I'm not going for a concourse restoration).
