G'Day Dan & Idelle,
What kind of information are you looking for on the rear main seal?. The A never had a seal as such & Henry depended on good crank clearances & a slinger arrangement to prevent too much seepage (of which there was always some). Just as a matter of interest, there was no engine ever designated "C" & this misnomer apparently came about due to the later engine with the counterbalanced crank having a C on the cylinder head casting.
