Balanced Engines

Hi Rick.Did you know that ALL Model A engines were balanced from the factory?Yep, they were, and that was unusual for a low priced car.But that's Henry for you.

Adding the counterbalance crank will help smooth out the engine even more, plus should kick in a couple more horses too.

As far as the float-a-motor go, with a new engine and counter-balanced crank, you may not notice the difference over the stock rear-engine mounts, as long as they're in good shape and you've replaced the rubber pads, etc.

If you're not interested in having your car in Blue Ribbon judging and you've got some extra bucks, it certainly wouldn't hurt to use the float-a-motor mounts.They LOOK prettier, anyway.
