Contact Dean Powell @ 1006 Center St., Lockhart, Tx 78644 (512) 398-7226. He has a good selection and if he doesn't have any Montana plates he may know who does.
A couple of others are:
Arthur Willis (214) 278-7424
Rod Hemmick (210)822-9040 He does repainting of license plates and they look good
Larry Machacek (713) 572-2505
Charlie Viosca (214) 625-2922 (his area may have changed from 214 to 972)
All of these guys are in Texas but they may be able to give you some leads on Montana plates.
(I wish I could find a set of '28's for $80, Tx '28's and '29's are going for $275 a pair unrestored and more for restorered!)
