Your car should have a rope bracket that is sculpted around the edges with two points at the end opposit the "rope". Two screw holes. The '31 rope brackets are rounded.

: I was on the usuall hunt for parts yesterday and had a fellow offer me a pair of brackets to mount the rope handle to the rear of the front seats. I have a 30 Town Sedan and I have not seen any referance to the rope handles on the back of the seats.Was this part of the Town Sedan or did they go to another model? I'm trying to stay authentic on the restoration .Any thoughts on this?
