Cabriolet side mirrors and windwings

I have a 1930 Cabriolet and have installed the kind of side mirrors that replace the original hinge pins in the upper door hinge.Now I want to install windwings and yet I have those mirrors sticking out.The windwings would go in front of the mirrors and I don't know if that would look acceptable.Would appreciate your input on this matter. Has anyone done this?Thanks.
