Bob gave you some great tips.If you're planning to do the work yourself, get yourself a copy of Les Andrews new book "Model A Mechanics Book." It's well written and illustrated and will REALLY help you "do it yourself".
The book costs about $30 plus S/H and is available from your local Model A Parts store or directly from the publisher
