:I devised a "cheap" method of using my rubber tipped compression gauge on A's.I found an otherwise worthless multiple part spark plug (Swap meet trash) purchase price 50 cents.Then I took it apart then screwed the base into the plug hole.This reduces the size of the plug hole so that the gauge fits nice and snug (no leaks).NO I am not ruining 3X plugs to do this.If it all comes down to money and you have a gauge that is otherwise not usable, try it.
