Here in Denmark, brake service shops normaly offers glued linings so I have drived with for a number of years (20) and I don't think there is any problems on model A's as on other cars (modern)

But a probleme is the specifications of the brake linnings, they always not as good as originals, I have lots of noise when braking on my latest restoration ('29 phaeton) but no problem with brakefunktion.

On my evryday car (Austin 1800 - 1971 model) I have to clean brakes often as the system original designed for asbestos brakelining does not like the modern nonasbestos type, which over the years have become poorer in quality

BUT still no problems vith glue vers rivets

use only correct type of linning, and dot belive that the brake shop always gives you it.

Kind regards
