:I would like to check the compression on my Model A.Is there a particular kind of compression gauge that will best fit the large spark plug hole? What should compression readings be?Are they checked with the engine warm?Any other suggestions ? G'Day Wayne, To adapt the standard compression gauge to the large "A" plug hole, got to your local parts store & buy a shock absorber rubber bush. You need the tapered type & that arefitted either side of a shock absorber eye. I'm sure if your parts guy lets you scratch through their trays you'll find one that's almost perfect. Regards DJ.
