I have used a diode cutout sold by A&L Parts which is a dead-on duplicate of the original from the outside.It has a beautiful heat-sink for the diode and it fits!Regardless of type, a spart cut-out should be in all Model-A tour spare parts kit.Its impossible to do a "roadside repair" on an original cut-out as the cover is spot welded on and can only be removed if the spots are ground off first.Some of Henry's parts have been improved upon greatly!
