A while ago this same problem was posted to this WWWboard while I was having the same difficulty.Someone suggested putting 15 lbs or torque on the hub nut then backing off of the nut to align the castle bolt with the cotter hole.Since I tryed toe-in and tightening the steering previously, I was willing to try anything else. The drivers side didn't seem to make a difference. When I did the passenger side nearing 15 lbs I heard a POP and grease came around the washer and the torque wrench swung free. After anotherturn or so, I got the torque back on.The shimmy went away and the bearings don't show wear.Good advice from people giving help.

: I just started having a problem with my 29 roadster. It will
: drive just fine for several miles, but, when I hit a bump
: in the road just right, the front end will start to shimmy and
: shake... It won't stop this shaking until I come to a complete stop, then it will ride/drive just fine until I hit another bump 'just right' I have even hit multiple bumps in the road that I thought would make it repeat the shaking, but it doesn't ... I'm not sure if its one of the front wheel bearings as I haven't had a look at them just yet... Could it be something or anything else??? Any suggestions would be appreciated....
