Good advice from all.I had the same problem with my 31 coupe.Final solution lay in the front wheel bearings. If you set them in accordance with the Ford recomendation they will be too loose.I went thruseveral trys before I got it right.I have driven the car about 2000 miles since I adjusted the wheel bearings tighter.I've disassembled them twice during that time to check for signs of overheating or other damage.Could'nt find any evidence that any damage was done and the front end has'nt shimmied once since.Hope this helps.

Steve

: I just started having a problem with my 29 roadster. It will
: drive just fine for several miles, but, when I hit a bump
: in the road just right, the front end will start to shimmy and
: shake... It won't stop this shaking until I come to a complete stop, then it will ride/drive just fine until I hit another bump 'just right' I have even hit multiple bumps in the road that I thought would make it repeat the shaking, but it doesn't ... I'm not sure if its one of the front wheel bearings as I haven't had a look at them just yet... Could it be something or anything else??? Any suggestions would be appreciated....
