I agree with John Icenhower. If the car is a driver then drive it. We tour with many people, folks that have award winning cars and folks that drive older restorations. In the end it doesn't matter. If you are on a tour you have fun. You can do mechanical restoration, keep it safe, and still keep the car on the road. One on the road is better than one all over the shop.
