Greetings all AAers,
I borrowed a nice trailer and a pickup to tow my 28 Express to the Northern CA meet this year. Only made it about 30 miles when the brakes went out on the first long downhill stretch of the freeway! There was a tow truck nearby helping another vehicle. The driver looked at my sad tale and sternly told me I had it all wrong. He said I should be using the 28 AA as the tow vehicle and hauling the modern iron. On that day, anyway, I couldn't fault him.
Sorry to see you have to sell your AA but best of luck to you.
I do have a 1931 AA flatbed for sale. It runs and price includes an extra AA parts truck--all for $2,500. I want to get 'em out of my garage so I can get on with restoring a 1931 grand piano of all things.
Cheers,
