If they are the tubular rivets, you'll need a special tool to flare the back side. If you have access to a brake riveting tool you may be able to remove the shaft and flare the rivet with it.Be sure to place something solid against the rivet head.If the rivets are the split style, you can just spread the two tangs with a screw driver.
