When fighting with a balky standard slot screw I dip the screw driver that I have chosen to use in a jar of valve grinding compound then in the slot it goes. Have never buggered a screw when using this method... plenty before I was shown. Now a small jar of compound is standard equipment in the top drawer.
That'll be two dollars please.

: Can someone tell me how to get the field coils out of the generator body? I can't budge those screws on the outside of the generator body! Looks like the past owner could't either!
