: I have a pretty decent little 31] standard coupe. For being as old as it is it is really pretty nice. When I first began to notice "A"s about 30 years ago this kind of car was more common. Now I mostly see Older restorations or "trailo Queens" that have all be worked and reworked. It is funny, I have been working on a 31' sedan for about 6 years now and I am falling out of love with it because I can not drive it. The old coupe fires up every time and I can put 5 miles on it an a local drive and feel real good. It still has a pretty good original interior. I have fixed minor stuff such as worn distributor bushings and a leaky exhaust manifold. I hate to start anythinh too big on the coupe for fear that I will take so long fixing it that it will become a long drawn-out bother. What do you guys think? Also. I am real new at computes too, so I hope this message gets to where it might get read. So long!

Dave,
If it is driveable and looks good enough that you're not ashamed (who would be ashamed to be seen driving any Model A??) I'd leave as is and keep working on the sedan. To me its more fun driving a nice older car especially an original, unrestored car than one you have to worry if someone is going to lean on the fender and scratch the paint. I have a friend who has several unrestored cars and he says that he has never driven a restored car that drives and rides as good as his original cars.
Of course the call is yours. But not having an A to drive and having two in "basket case" would be a shame.
Have a drive in the coupe and then decide.
Happy Model A'ing!!!!
John
