Please turn to the advertising section of your "Restorer" magazine. If you are not receiving it, please join MAFCA. Send $20.00 along with your name and address to: Model A Ford Club of America; 250 S. Cypress St.; LaHabra, CA 90631-5586. I think that they even have a "website". You'll see that there are lots of choices and lots of prices. About the cheapest are the $1,000. ones made out of old Ramblers. The most expensive are D & J Manufacturings' that are made out of aluminum-cased 4-speed Ford pickup transmissions (over $2,000). Most my friends prefer the middle-of-the-road priced one - the Mitchell which is about $1,200.00. I've seen all three. The Mitchell is all new gears and case and real nice. D & J's is real nice, too and gives you full synchomesh to boot but - wow- that's quite a price to pay. I'll go on double-clutching.
