Jim,
As I see it there are four places that you need to look for play.First the rotor itself.It is possible that the little 'knob' on the inside of the rotor is too small and allows the rotor to move (get a new rotor).Second the cam might be loose, check that the screw is tight (tighten the cam).Third the shaft is a two piece unit that is connected with a couple. Check that the couple is not too loose(you can open or close the notched end of the shaft for a tighter fit).Lastly the gear at the botton of the shaft might not meet the cam shaft correctly (make sure that the gears are meshed properly)
