: I heard that someone sells a type of "Decal" that can be used to etch the Ford logo on widow glass,I assume the process is the same as used to etch the car serial numbers for theft prevention.Does anyoneknow of such a product & where it can bepurchased?

G'Day Tony,
If you have a sample logo, most signage outlets that can do the stick-on lettering for shop windows etc. should be able to help you. What they'd do is scan your logo so they have a computer image of it, then basically the sky's the limit. It could then be shrunk, enlarged, reversed or made into a posotive or negative. The logo is then cut into decal sheet with a special printer, & the unwanted cut-outs peeled off to leave either a posotive or negative. A clear plastic film is then stuck on top so that when the paper backing is removed the logo remains in the correct form until it is applied to the surface of the glass. The beauty of this is that once you have the computer image, it's possible to cut as many as required at any time.
