Many thanks to the five Model Ayers who responded to my idea so far.Some comments regarding theirs..
Bob and Carl are for the idea as they are new to the hobby and would benefit from the expertise out there.Charie and Mikethought it was a good idea, and Mike said "don't let it die." Joe thought it was a copy of the MARC/MAFCA meet idea.Let me say something about Joe's comments..
I had no intent to "re-invent the wheel" as far as getting another National Meet thing started. My intent was to offer the idea to the newcomers and regulars to Dale's page that could result in a small group of Model Ayers that would have a great time, learn something and have the opportunity to contribute.
I really appreciate the five responses so far, but perhaps it's not be such a good idea afterall as I haven't heard from the regular contributors.
I would be most happy to continue to develop the idea if the response warrants, and ask that someone step forward to assist me in the working out the details.
