Hi Jim.According to the MAFCA/MARC Judging Standards and Restoration Guidelines, you need a Model A engine for blue-ribbon judging.However, any 28-34 4-cylinder engine and era accessories are permitted in tour class (although you'll have points deducted) or in a modified class, if there is one at the particular meet.
A copy of the Standards can be ordered from either MAFCA or MARC - they're about $25.
