Howdy from Dallas -
The radiator shouldn't have to come off, but will need to be tilted forward so that the pump will have enough room to pivot out.Remove the top hose,and the two rods, and (assuming you have the springs on the lower radiator bolts) you should be able to rock the thing forward enough to clear.
Reminds me of the time I had a straight-8 Buick with noisey valves.When I adjusted them, I could hear the loose rods.
