cooling syst. leak (Radiator)

At the suggestion of a friend, I tried a teaspoonful of black pepper in a warm & circulating radiator in order to stop a small leak. It apparently worked. The pepper supposedly finds the leak, seals it up hard, and the unused pepper keeps circulating and eventually bio-degrades. Something else to carry in the toolbox -- and it would be useful for picnic lunches, too.
