Stuck in the well! Help

I'm trying to rebuild a Zenith I carb and everything is comming apart nicely exept the Secondary Well part#a-9545.I tried drilling and unscewing it,but no dice.Finally took it to my local machine shop.They used a tap and die,but only removed half of the fitting.It must have broken at one point. Know how do I remove the remainder of that fitting? Any help would be appreciated.
