This will probably bolster the opinion most that know me have on just how lazy I am but with that risk not withstanding here goes. I purchased one of the coil testers listed in Snyder's and other places and have found it to be a useful tool. When a problem such as this crops up I stick it in and most of the trouble shooting is done. A word of caution and an example of just how far a little stupidity (my own) will take a fellow. They send a stick with the tester to use as an operating tool. I lost mine and reached for the nearest thing handy. The pencil ever present in my overhauls pocket. Like to have shocked the chit out of myself. I knew that it would do that too. Amazing huh!

: My '28 was running not too good, but it was running and would get me around. So I thought I'd change the points and condenser to see if that made any difference. I set the new points at .016 and set the timing.Nothing else was changed. Now it does not fire at all. What did I overlook? I've gone through it all a couple of times and am puzzled.
: I'd be glad to hear from someone about this.
