Check to see if you have 12 volts to the points...... put a piece of match book between the points and use a test light to see if you have 12 volts to the points with the key on...... If you have 12 volts make sure the points are closing all the way....... with the coil wire near the block without touching....open and close the points rapidly the coli should spark a nice blue spark about 1/2 inch long...... if the coil sparks adjust your timing and make sure you have a good roto and cap......... If the coil does not spark replace your condensor and if that does not cure it have the coil checked

If you do not have 12 volts to the points you must work backwards to find out where the open or grounded circuit is between the distributor and the ignition switch......
