Bill, a friend of mine sanded his steering wheel and put on several coats of gloss black paint. Did this about 3 years ago and still looks good to me.

: Has anyone else had this problem: when the black steering wheel in my '29 coupe gets wet....like condensation in the morning in cool weather...it "sweats" black sticky moisture.
: Does anyone know what would stop this?Or what might cause it?
