There's a web page for the Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA) where there's listed all the chapters.I'm sure that there's at least one in the San Diego area.
Also listed on the MAFCA website is a list of MAFCA members that have e-mail.There's both an alphabetical list by last name and a list by state.You should be able to look up some neighboring Model A owners there.
