There is a restoration book on AA's called the "AA Truck Supplement to Restorer's Model A Shop Manual" by Jim Schild. As the name implies it is takes up on AA's where Jim's first book is devoted to A's. It is available from Walt Bratton for about $13, the first book is about $22, they may have gone up since the '94 catalog I have handy. Bratton's number is 1-800-255-1929 or go to his web site at http://www.modelatrader.com/brattons/brattons.html
another source of information is the "Model A Ford Judging Standards and Restoration Guidelines" published jointly by the Model A Ford Club of America and Model A Restorers Club. Their addresses are available at the Model A Trader website also.
