: Scott; What top material are you planning to use? I would be very interested in knowing as I am unable to find anything deemed to be accurate under the judging standards.

: Mike Flanagan, The Model A Fool.

Hi Mike,
Well, I already have (still in box) the wonderfully unoriginal tan canvas top from LeBaron Bonney. This is my solution to get'er on the road. But like you I am in search of something more original. So… I will keep your email address in my address book & let you know when I do (he says optimistically) find that right material, and please do the same for me.

By the way, throughout my search I was questioning someone at the LeBaron Bonney company and told her that I already knew the original grey check proxylin coated material was not available, but if they had to make a replace top & it HAD to be canvas, then why could they not at least TRY to get the color close. Her reply…"Uh, I dunno?"O well! The search goes on.
