: Hello,

: I'm installing rear sub rails and inner fender panels on my 30 coupe. In a dry run I noticed that the inner fender panels do not fit plum (level) top to bottom. They pitch out at the bottom were they attach at the subrail. Is this correct? Don't have an example to compare.

: Much thanks

Dean,
I am in the process of replacing the inner panels myself. For what it is worth, the body work is being done on a frame and all panels, fenders, trunk lid, doors, etc., "dry" fitted before any welding or riveting. My coupe was rusted about 3 inches up with the subrails gone from just behind the doors to the back so the frame acts like a fixture to work from.
Also the panels look like they do tend to pitch out at the bottom but not by much.
Good luck,
GW
