You might all want to check out the new book by
Les Andrews:Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook.
Just got my copy and wow!!.Lots of good useful information
to repair specific components of the car, service guides,
basic trouble shooting.Over 400 labeled diagrams.There's
even one for all the grease fitting and each Cotter pin.

Finally, a novice like me can attempt to do some basic repairs
without trying to read the older, poorly illustrated cryptic references.
