: I would get the Judging Standards to start with.Join the national clubs for how to info.Happy A un!

John is right the judging standards are a big help (he probably wishes I would return his set) but for those of us that are just getting into the world of the Model A there are some other very useful publications that are extremely helpful. How To Restore Your Model A vols 1 thru 5, Jim Schilds Shop manual and the book "Model A Ford, Construction, Operation, Repair for the Restorer by Victor Page'. All available thru Snyder's or Bratton's. The latter is a book that was written in the 40's or 50's and is not structured as a reference manual but there is a wealth of knowledge between the covers regardless of the inadequate editing. Invest in these books and soon you will be as big Model A Fool as the rest of us.

God Speed under 50.

Mike Flanagan, The Model A Fool.
