Body Alignment

Please Help. 31 sport coupe was apart when I bought it. Have had the body off the frame for a year but I am now ready to mount the body to the frame. I have the body in place and was checking to make sure the bolt holes where lined up, and all of them seem to be except for the "L" bracket holes under the cowl(on both sides). They are off by 1 hole out of the 2.So… My first question is why are they not lining up. Could both brackets have possibly been mispositioned. Second is there a drawing in any book that shows where the different body blocks go. Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far answering my novice questions. This web site is the greatest!
