Using a "C" crank in an "A" engine is not "restoration". Restoration by definition is to return to original. Hot rod is another way to say modified, regardless the configuration of the engine. A Model A with a modified engine is a Hot Rod. That is not to say it is better or worse but some of us like our cars to stay as Henry built them. Obviously I am one of those freaks.
