I just had a problem with my '28 Tudor backfiring and running rough.I inspected the manifold assembly, and found a little hairline crack on the intake manifold ear, where the carb. bolts onto it.I replaced the exhaust manifold gasket, and manifold assembly, and it is now running like a champ.A new gasket is about $5, give it a try.
