: My dad has asked me to see if I can get some help tips on how
: get the headliner put in his 1930 Model A Coupe. Any help I
: can get would be greatly appriciated. He's getting close to
: getting the car finished and some of it got done with the help
: of all you nice people. Thanks for all your help. :)

Mark the center of the header wood, top bows and rear bow. Find the center of the headliner and the first sewn tab from the header. Start tacking at the center and pull it tight to each side as you tack every inch. Do not tack to sides. Continue with remaining bows. Once all bows are tacked you may tack to the center of the header, sides and rear and work towards the corners. The only problem you usually have is thr rear corners and of they are a little loose they will be pulled up by the side panel when installed. Once completer you can steam (with a iron) the headliner to remove wrinkles and tighten it, but you can only do this once. Good Luck. If you need more info let me know. Jim McPherson
