: The front floor board have two steel supports.Where are they mounted? Are they underneath? which way do the rivet heads face? How far apart are they spaced?I just need help with good instructions on where they are placed.Any help will be appreciated.

Tony, I still have the old original floor board from by 30 roadster(a pack-rat).Used the original braces and rivets. The dimensions were different from side to side.I think this was done to allow room for the battery opening cover plate. The passenger side dimensions were: starting at the forward edge, 1st hole is 1" back and 8" from right side edge. The 4th hole is 9 3/8 " from right side edge. The four holes are spaced 3 3/4" apart. The Driver side dimensions are:1st hole 1" back from foreward edge, 8 3/8 " from left side edge.4th hole is 10" from left edge. The holes are also 3 3/4" apart.Rivet heads at top and braces on bottom as Rick states.Incidentaly, there was a article published in one of the bimonthly magazines a while back "The Restorer or Model A News.Don't recall which. It covered in detail (with original bluebrint) the floor board construction. Hope this helps.Have fun!
Paul
