Hi Gary.I have forged front fender braces that fit both 28-29 and 30-31 Model A's.They are indeed different; as different as the widths of the front fenders.They cannot be interchanged.
If your car is going to be a "show car", you probably want to go to the stamped braces.If it's a "driver", use the forged ones; they're stronger and won't crack at the point they mount to the frame.
