I hope you have budgeted some additional funds for remodel and repairs. A $5000 Model A could need some serious repairs and while the Model A is probably the cheapest hobby car to work on it still "ain't cheep". I purchased my 31 Slant for 5500 and haven't gotten to the paint yet and am up over 8K with plans for more... and I have a reputation for frugality.
Just a thought, a Model A that you can't afford to work on is no fun to just sit in....
