: Thanks to Wayne & John for their input on my headlight script problem, John could you supply me with an address for Marco or Enrique so I could forward a photo direct to them?.My next problem is not what colour to paint my bumper clamps, but whether they are correct, (being new to thisaffliction which I now well & truly have), as it would seem that the Canadian models were assembled with flat unpainted chromed oval plates of approximately the same dimensions as the American models, which are held in position with a chrome plated dome headed coach bolt. I'm awaiting my book on judging standards which has been ordered, but am not sure whether any data is available for R.H.D.Canadian assembled models

DJ:The Canadian Supplement (F) in the JUDGING STANDARDSwill best explain and illustrate the various kinds of Canadian bumper clamps. There were 4 styles of bumper clamps and 4 styles of centre bumper clamps. There are 2 possible styles for a 1930 with the changeover date being around August 1930. The first style is flat and was chrome plated steel. The later style was the same shape and size but the head of the mounting bolt was visible on the outside of the clamp. The centre clamp was the same except it was smaller in size.I was fortunate enough to have original clamps on my July 1930 Canadian Tudor. They are the first style.I had them replated. There were 2 styles of backing plates as well.Hope this helps. The JUDGING STANDARDS are invaluable and they will give you other information about Canadian produced Model A's.
